My family 'Dumas' was very involved with Lacolle and when you have some historical resources written in English, please post on your website where we might obtain a copy. Thank you, merci beaucoup. Enjoyed your pictures. Champlain Lakes Website has good information on the Battle of Lacolle Mill.

Hello,
I along with 15 siblings were born in a farm house in St.Bernard which is still standing. My parents Irene and Walter Hough owned the farm until approximently 1963. After we left the farm was used as a campground called, I believe, The North of the Border Campground. If any one has knowledge of this farm, knew my family or could provide photo's of the farm I would dearly love to make contact with them. I was only nine when we left and the only pictures I had were lost by couriers when I moved across country last year. I still remember the farm well and would like to make contact with the present owners and anyone who knew my family.
Thank you,
May Hough

Hello,
Do you have any pictures of the Lacolle Mill and blockhouse that were used in the two separate battes during the War of 1812. If so, please send them to me and any other pictures you have got. Or do you know where I can get some pictures. I notice you do not mention the battles on your History webpage.
Thank you

My Daughter is presently residing in your town with the Katimavik Program. I am very pleased that you would open your doors to these young people. Your community should be proud to help these young adults on their way through life with all the experiences necessary to help them be productive to the community.

I have friends who are looking at relocating to the Lacolle area. Could you put me in contact with the appropriate person who could help them with real estate, getting their kids enrolled in school, and getting established in the community. Is there a place to find a church directory? Thank you so much in advance, for your time and assistance on this. Sincerely, Brenda Gill

One day I hope to revisit again & maybe look up & see if there are any relatives still there. Thanks again. Marion Welton (Menard) My fathers name was Rosell Menard.
